Chad Offerdahl is the President of The Big Biscuit®, a modern All-American Breakfast and Lunch franchise concept that offers freshly prepared and generous portions of classic comfort food favorites with a creative twist that are served with genuine hometown hospitality. The company was founded in 2000 and today operates more than 27 restaurants and has more than 500 team members, serving communities in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Offerdahl and his father, David, bought The Big Biscuit in 2010 from company founder Dan Gerson. The community-centric brand strives to provide every guest with an excellent experience, while cultivating a company culture that empowers employees and offers team members a healthy work-life balance.
As an accomplished restaurateur, Chad Offerdahl has developed a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the industry. His breadth of experience spans across all aspects of operations, having started as a cook and worked his way up the ranks to Operator and now President of The Big Biscuit. Throughout his career, he has established a deep understanding of how to run successful restaurants.
Prior to The Big Biscuit, Offerdahl was Partner at Scent Thief, a Kansas-based company that specializes in hunting scent control.
Chad Offerdahl studied Hospitality Management at the University of Missouri. Offerdahl exemplifies The Big Biscuit’s commitment to community. He has volunteered his time and resources to various causes including Community Blood Center of Greater Kansas City, Harvesters – The Community Food Network, Operation Breakthrough, and more.
