Geo Concepcion

Geo Concepcion is an accomplished restaurant turnaround executive with an extensive background in professional investing. Concepcion currently serves as the President and CEO of ITA Group Holdings (ITA), a private equity–held restaurant platform company based in the Mid-Atlantic which includes beloved brands such as The Greene Turtle and Clark Crew BBQ. Concepcion joined the Greene Turtle in 2019 and led the company through the pandemic positioning it for the most rapid rate of growth in the company’s 46-year history. In 2022, the Greene Turtle opened a company record seven units, acquired Oklahoma-based Clark Crew BBQ, launched the Founder Growth Platform (FGP) with partnerships across seven different brands, and reorganized under ITA. Formerly, Concepcion served as the Chief Operating Officer of Famous Dave’s, a publicly traded franchise concept with over 150 locations nationwide. In his role as COO, he oversaw all day-to-day operations and led a digital transformation resulting in positive same-store sales comps in company-owned locations for six consecutive quarters after a multiyear decline. Prior to serving as COO of Famous Dave’s, Concepcion was the VP of Development where he had primary responsibility for executing on the company’s store optimization and re-franchising efforts. Additionally, he led the company’s national efforts with third-party delivery, online ordering, and digital marketing.
