Raymond “Ray” Tremblay is the Corporate Beverage Director for Boston-based COJE Management Group and a fixture on the national cocktail scene. He joined the COJE team in 2021, working closely with Managing Partner Chris Jamison to design the beverage program for the opening of Coquette, the group’s newest French-inspired and slightly irreverent brasserie. Today, Ray oversees the beverage programs across the entire restaurant portfolio including Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar, Yvonne’s, RUKA, Mariel and of course Coquette – each of which carries a unique custom cocktail selection.
Ray’s 20-year hospitality career as a bartender and beverage manager in both Boston and Miami has taken him around the country and back. He spent years honing his skills and working on the “other side” of the hospitality industry, most notably as a member of the Diageo Reserve’s National Education Team working as a national program specialist. A creative thinker, he has designed and executed events at notable festivals and presented as a guest speaker at an array of spirit events including SXSW, Tales of the Cocktail, SACC, and Thirst Boston, to name a few. Ray created the first National Draft cocktail lab and his cocktail creations have been featured in national trade and consumer publications. In 2021 he founded his own company, One 2 One Hospitality – a consulting and brand strategy business focused on education and growth in the on-premise sector.
Innovation and generosity are at the core of everything Ray pursues; from creating and executing educational programs and labs, to mentoring hospitality professionals and teammates, and consulting for bars and restaurants around the U.S. He is the cofounder of the Dutile-Trembly Community Fund – a non-profit organization that aids children with autism and creates scholarships for students pursuing trade careers.
